About us

Quality Tree Care Service in Peterborough

At New Growth Tree Care Professionals, our mission is to aid in the preservation of the urban canopy through promoting best practices in arboriculture.

Evan began his adventure in the trees over 10 years ago. His knowledge and love for the tree care industry has grown exponentially and we are fortunate to have him take the lead here at New Growth Tree Care.

Located in the Peterborough area, one of our favourite things about our city is its urban canopy. Our mission is to aid in the preservation of the canopy through promoting best practices in arboriculture.

At New Growth Tree Care, our team of tree care experts bring hands-on experience to every job, be it small pruning tasks or larger tree removal jobs in tight spaces. Our priority is working safely while respecting your property. Each project begins with an in-depth discussion about your needs, our recommendations, and the work to be performed - this ensures a transparent pricing structure with no surprises on completion of our services.

Trees are part of your everyday lives, not simply job sites. That is why we take the time to listen, answer any queries and explain each step along the way. If you need an easy tree care team who prioritizes providing excellent service, then look no further, we are here.

We provide a wide range of tree services from tree pruning, stump removal, tree planting, hedge trimming to storm damage, deep root fertilization, brush chipping, cabling and bracing. You get clear communication, fair pricing, and work done with care. Check out some of our work here!

We also provide Emergency Tree Care Services.

What to Expect From Our Tree Care Services

Reach Out to Us

Tell us what's going on. Is a branch hanging low over the roof? Did a tree start leaning after the wind? Or are you just not sure about something in the yard? Any of those is a good reason to call. We'll ask a few questions and find a time that suits you for a first visit. Email works too. If you're looking for tree services Peterborough homeowners and cottage owners can rely on, this is where it starts.

We Look at the Tree and the Area

Before any work is planned, we take a walk around. Evan has worked in trees for over ten years, and for any arborist Peterborough Ontario property owners hire, that first look matters most. With an existing tree, we check the branches, trunk and base for anything weak or unhealthy. For a planting job, we look at the space, the sun and the soil. For fertilization, we see how the tree is doing right now. Sometimes the answer is simpler than you expected.

We Create a Plan

Next we explain what we found and what we'd suggest, in plain words. You'll know what the work involves and why it's needed. If there's more than one way to handle it, we'll lay out the options. Good tree care starts with you understanding what you're paying for, so ask as many questions as you like. Nothing begins until you're comfortable with the plan.

We Do the Work

On the day, the crew arrives with the gear the job needs. Pruning follows industry standards, so the tree comes out stronger rather than stressed. For bigger removals, rigging lowers the pieces down in a controlled way, and a crane comes in when the situation calls for it. Your lawn, roof and fences are what we're working to protect the whole time.
